Respect

Whoa now, I guess this is some kind of "respect"!

Only two kind of motorcyclists, those that ride Harleys and those that wish they were....

Busy Weekend!

First off just heard about this Hells Canyon Rally,
"Live the Dream in Historic Baker City, Oregon" June 13th - 16th 2008.
Sure sounds like a nice area to ride, located in Northwest Oregon. Lots of interesting roads from the looks of it.

Also going on is the 31st annual Redwood Run, "The Ultimate Biker Party" a bit of a ride, down in Eureka area of Northern California but sounds fun as well.

I guess it's getting to be that time of the year, tons of stuff going on!

I say just bring it on! Looking forward to a good summer, at least with the bike I can still afford to get around, at least to some extent.

Interesting video

I have always been told to never talk to a police officer without representation, an interesting video by Professor James Duane that addresses the pitfalls of talking with investigators. Kind of scary!

Where are the sunny days!

Is it just me or do the clouds intentionally wait till the weekend to show up? Any thought on that one? No riding this weekend, been fairly busy with projects. I guess it helps to have gloomy days, no diversions from the tasks at hand. I hear the Rush concert over in the Gorge this past weekend was pretty good, of course the weather was excellent. They sure have been around for awhile. The ride over the pass is always an adventure. You can feel the heat hit you as you go over the pass. Beautiful views all the way.

"Gamma Girl" also known as a "Kid of Speed"

This girl has one of the most interesting web sites I've seen in awhile. She rides a Kawasaki Ninja, ZZR-1100 (ZX-11), a fairly good size bike. Filatova Elena Vladimirovna. She is Russian I believe and does this travelogue from her bike through the Chernobyl area, or what she can of it at least. Incredibly interesting to see what damage still persists to this day in that part of the world. She provides an excellent commentary through out the trip though just the pictures themselves are captivating. She also has a number of other of adventures on her site from that part of the world that are as interesting. Check it out!
